This detached villa is 20km from Elche and 30km from Alicante, and is situated in the wine producing region of Vinalopó Valley which produces wine of D.O. labels. Set in the mountains of the Sierra de Crevillente, Hondon de las Nieves, boasts the feel of a typical Spanish village with cave houses and
fiesta’s, and a children’s play area. The villa is about a mile from the village and offers peaceful and tranquil living, combined with great food and sunny weather. The villa boasts a 8m x 4m private swimming pool and a landscaped garden, with Satellite TV (SKY).
There is already a converted Finca (“La Finca”) on-site which operates as a Hotel, Restaurant & Bar, and sometime during 20011-12 there will be a Bank, Supermarket and Leisure complex on the estate which will be less than a 2 minute walk away.
The village of Hondon has a population of around 2000, with a palm-lined square where you can enjoy a great coffee and a glass of wine in the early evenings, taking in the colourful traditional buildings before indulging in some of the local foods such as arroz caldoso (rice stew), trigo picado (cracked wheat stew) and grilled meat.
The Villa itself has Bedroom one (ground floor) with a double bed, built in wardrobe with draw unit. Bedroom two (also on the ground floor) has a single bed with pull out single guest bed, built in wardrobe with draw unit. Bedroom three is the Master bedroom (first floor) with a double pine bed, pine wardrobe and draw unit, along with patio doors leading to a private balcony with spectacular mountain views, looking down the valley towards the town of Hondon.
There are 2 fully tiled bathrooms, the downstairs one has a bath with shower over and the upstairs one has a shower. The kitchen has granite work surfaces, an oven and hob with extractor fan, fridge/freezer, microwave oven etc.. plus crockery for 8 people. There’s also an utility room with iron, ironing board and washing machine available. The terrace has awnings for extra shade if required.
The living/dining room has a 2 piece leather suite. There’s also a LCD TV with a Sky-Digital box, PlayStation 2, a DVD player and CD player. There is numerous DVD’s available in the villa covering all tastes.
Cleaning, and the provision of fresh towels and bedding, are done before you arrive and can also be done during your stay if you require – but this will incur a charge. For those with babies or small children, there is a highchair*, cot (with linen)*, car seat* available and a buggy*. There are also plastic bowls, cups and spoons available. Welcome packs of food and beverages can be available upon arrival for an additional cost.
The property is strictly non-smoking and we would appreciate your co-operation in this matter. Please also use the shower provided next to the Villa’s swimming pool to remove any sun lotion before getting into the pool.
